Trust 235A modem 8000 Kbit/s

The Trust 235A is an 8000 Kbit/s modem designed primarily for PCs. It supports various data link protocols including RFC 1483, Routed IP over ATM/ Ethernet over ATM; RFC 2364, PPPoA; RFC 2516, PPpoe; and ATM AAL5. This device offers upstream speeds of up to 1 Mbit/s and downstream speeds of up to 8 Mbit/s.

The minimum system requirements are Intel Pentium-II 233 MMX CPU, one free USB port, 32 MB of RAM, and at least 50 MB of available HDD space. Compatibility extends to Windows operating systems such as Windows 98SE, 2000, ME, XP, but it does not support Macs. In terms of physical dimensions, the Trust 235A measures 120 mm in depth, 28 mm in height, and 85 mm in width.

Special features include line specifications that comply with ANSI T1.413 issue 2, ITU-T G.992.1 (G.DMT) modulation, ITU-T G.992.2 (G.LITE) modulation, and ITU Automode encapsulation. Additionally, it supports LLC/SNAP VC-MUX VPI/VCI settings ranging from 0-255 and 32-65535 respectively. An active ADSL subscription or Annex A DSL account login information along with a splitter/microfilter setup is required for correct phone functionality.
