HP Indigo 5500 Digital Press

HP Indigo 5500 Digital Press is equipped for high-quality digital printing solutions. It supports TCP/IP network protocols through Mac connectivity via PcMaclan, making it versatile for various networking environments. The bundled software, HP Press Production Manager 2.6, enhances the on-press capabilities specifically designed for the 5×00 series press.

This new version extends DFE functionality to accommodate advanced features introduced in the HP Indigo 5500 model. The system runs smoothly under Windows XP Professional operating systems, ensuring compatibility and reliability. In terms of hardware specifications, this printer offers robust performance.

With four print cartridges available, it caters to diverse media types from coated papers ranging between 80g/m² to 350g/m² up to uncoated weights from 40lb to 120lb cover. Its media path dimensions are specified at 330.2 x 482.6 mm, accommodating different thicknesses effectively. For paper management, there’s an additional feeding unit capable of handling 3 x 1800 sheets, complementing standard input options which consist of four drawers with a total capacity of 6100 sheets.
