The LevelOne RJ45 to SC Fast Ethernet Media Converter is designed for wired networking applications that require fast data transfer rates up to 100 Mbit/s between devices using Multi-mode fiber cables. This converter features an IEEE 802.3af PoE standard which allows it to provide power through the network cable, making it suitable for powering IP cameras and other low-power devices without additional power sources. The device has one RJ-45 input interface compatible with 10Base-T and 100Base-TX standards and one 100Base-FX output interface capable of handling multi-mode fiber optic connections with diameters supported in core/cladding sizes such as 50/125, 62.5/125, and 100/140 micrometers.
