The StarTech.com 8 Port VGA Video Extender over Cat 5 (UTPE Series) is an AV transmitter designed for extending video signals up to 300 meters using standard CAT5 and CAT5e cables. It supports resolutions of up to 1280 x 1024 pixels and features eight DVI-D inputs on the front panel that can be daisy chained together.

This device includes one DVI-D port for connecting external monitors directly.
