. The Philips CGA7740N/00 is a tabletop wireless router featuring single-band Wi-Fi operation at 2.4 GHz, supporting up to 300 Mbit/s data transfer rate via IEEE 802.11n standard. It supports Fast Ethernet connectivity through its RJ-45 ports, capable of speeds ranging from 10 to 100 Mbit/s using 10/100Base-T(X) cabling technology.

Security features are provided by various algorithms including WEP (both 64-bit and 128-bit), WPA, WPA-PSK, WPA-TKIP, WPA2, WPA2-AES, WPA2-PSK, WPA2-TKIP, PFS, WPS push button, Network Address Port Translation (NAPT), Firewall security, Quality of Service (QoS) support, reset button, filtering capabilities, network address translation (NAT), DHCP server functionality, Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), RIP-1 routing protocol, and includes an indication light along with an on/off switch.
