. The Philips AVENT SCH740/37 is a contact-type digital ear thermometer designed for use in both children’s and adults’ ears. It features an LCD display that shows measurements in Celsius and Fahrenheit units.

The device has a memory function but does not store past readings; instead, it provides immediate feedback on temperatures. This thermometer can measure temperatures within the range of 32.4 to 42.9 degrees Celsius and maintains an accuracy of ±0.2 degrees Celsius during measurement. It supports mobile devices running on Android and iOS platforms through its built-in Bluetooth connectivity.

Compatibility extends to iPhones starting from model 5S onwards. The battery requirement includes two AAA/LR03 alkaline batteries which are sufficient for up to five hours of continuous operation under normal conditions.
