HP Mini 5101 is an Intel Atom® N280-based netbook featuring a 25.6 cm (10.1″) display with a native aspect ratio of 5:3 at 1024 x 600 pixels. It runs on Windows 7 Starter operating system and has a processor clock frequency of 1.66 GHz with one core and two threads. The netbook’s internal storage consists of a 160 GB hard disk drive using SATA technology and operates at 7200 RPM.

The netbook comes in black color and weighs approximately 1.2 kg. Its main memory capacity is 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM installed in a single SO-DIMM slot. It supports high-definition audio through its integrated stereo speakers and built-in microphone for voice input.
